Gig Poster

This project is a gig poster for whatever we chose and I chose a band that I like. We had to make it abstract and eye catching. I liked the font for the information and that's about it. I didn't have enough time to add an image into it. Put more time into it. Only font that's it. Maybe if someone asked for me to design them a poster for an event.

Doblin Discrimination Project

This project is a Doblin Discrimination Matrix I did mine about Barbie dolls discerning the different models and prices that each one had. I liked the design for it and the barbie heads in between each picture. I think the most challenging thing was getting the right things for each square and describing them. I would probably choose a different subject matter to make it easier to find pictures and describe it. I used the cropping to make the pictures that were too big and made them smaller. And the roping tool thing for the barbie heads. I'm actually not really sure what to do with the doblin discrimination matrix maybe when comparing brands?

Skateboards

This for a competition between some art classes for getting whatever they designed onto an actual deck. So I did various colors schemes with the same two bears on each end of the boards. The bears look really cute, although there were some parts that I didn't highlight but, I like the way that there are some openings. I got frustrated with getting the bears to be right size or make them look good on the board. Make sure that I highlight all the lines because it might not look great on different subject matters. If i had an idea that I liked then I could put it on the object that I would want to put it on.  

Ink pen Project

This project was using all the techniques I learned while doing the violin but with a harder subject matter. I like that the hallway looks like a hallway and the railing looks right and nice. I think the hardest thing to do was making sure that all the lines were connected in order to do the live paint correctly. Before I get too far make sure that all the lines that should be very straight are straight like the right side of the hallway is a little crooked. Mainly just the ink pen tool and after I was done I used the live paint tool. Not really sure if the need ever came up to make something that required using ink pen then definitely.

Magazine Ad

Inquiry Questions:
Advertisements can vary, they can be in magazines, newspapers, online, and on TV in commercials. In some ways it can persuade someone to buy something from that particular ad. Depending on what type of ad it is a person could act on it and do something for that cause. If the ad sparks a certain emotion to make a person feel that way or do something for or to someone else. I don't think they should be regulated although most might be false, most people realize that they're photoshopped I would hope that   people would realize. Having them regulated by the government would only limit companies from expressing how they want people to feel about their product.
